About Me

Thought you might want to know a little bit about me.

 I started painting in kindergarten…. 

I probably painted the same little square house with the triangle roof and little stick figures and stick flowers 50 times. Yep, that’s where it started. I even had a little broom that I took to the neighbor’s house and proceeded to paint the side of their house with MUD. Of course, my mom made me scrub it all down. (I was probably 4 at the time.) 

I grew up in a middle-class neighborhood in Akron, Ohio. We all referred to it as North Hill. It was a very big Italian community. 

Now I live in a little country town in Ohio. I absolutely adore it.  I love being outdoors whether it’s to be in my garden, taking a walk in the woods, reading a book, or playing with the dogs and just enjoying the sunshine. 

I also love to listen to all different genres of music. You will always hear the music playing at my house, sometimes outside too, if I’m really into the song. 

 I absolutely love to cook and bake for my family and friends, or sometimes on those chilly nights we just roast marshmallows and smores around the fire pit. 

I just love to express myself through my art. I have always done something creative whether it was hair design, quilting, painting or repurposing furniture.  I also love painting decorative wall murals, or anywhere you want for that matter. Do you have a piece of furniture that is worn out, but you love it?  Well don’t throw it out, let me repurpose it for you by painting and making it a brand-new piece for you to love.  

I want you to know that when you purchase a painting, you are not only getting an original painting, but you also have a very personal part of me. My heart and soul is in every painting.
